The Chicago Bulls are now the NBA champions after a thrilling 76-65 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
Chicago’s victory capped a perfect night for a team that is coming off a playoff berth that included a series sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans, which lost the second game in a row.
The Bulls are the only team in the NBA that has won the championship in both of their seasons.
Chicago had to overcome the first-round sweep of Houston and the eventual championship-clinching win over the Denver Nuggets.
This season, the Bulls were just 4-3 when facing the Spurs.
They are now one win from tying the NBA record of 52 wins set by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1966.
